A few words about Knossos
The Minoan palace is the main site to visit in Knossos, an important city in antiquity, with continuous life from the Neolithic period until the 5th century. It is built on the hill of Kefala, with easy access to the sea but also to the mainland of Crete. According to the tradition, it was the home of the wise king Minos. Fascinating myths, with the Labyrinth, the Minotaur and also Daedalus with Icarus, are associated with the palace of Knossos.
